There are so many new and exciting challenges to face when you have a baby, whether it’s your first or fifth, focussing on nurturing a new little person is demanding, both mentally and physically. And often the one person you forget to nurture is yourself. That’s where we come in.

With so many mixed messaged around what, when and why to eat certain foods in the weeks and months after giving birth and whilst breast feeding, we are here to help mothers navigate through the advice and provide them with a carefully thought out food delivery service that is created specifically with their needs in mind.

And so, this is Mama, our home delivery service created specifically for mums by the founder of Detox Kitchen. All the wholesome, delicious food you need throughout the day, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and juices, all delivered directly to your door daily. You can also choose to gift a package to someone else, as it really would make the perfect gift for a new mum!

Think food that you can eat one handed whilst jiggling a baby. Cookies that you can eat when all you want is sugar. Filling, nutritious, hearty meals and comforting cashew milk, when all you want is to be fed and watered without the hassle of cooking. We can even add on dinner for Dad.

Our main goal is to help you stay confident, strong and full of energy so that you can focus on being the mama you want to be.



I’m Lily, Founder of Detox Kitchen and mum to Fin and Eva. I know first-hand how difficult it can be to find the time to cook wholesome, delicious food every day when you have little ones to look after. I was so surprised with myself when I had my first baby; being in the healthy food industry I thought I would have this part covered but I found myself living off toast and Kit Kats while I struggled to keep up with my breast-feeding induced hunger. And so I called on my team to send me food (lucky me, I know) and within just a few days I felt I was back on track with my eating habits and generally felt far more energised.

Since becoming a mother I have found that there is very little nutritional information about what mothers should be eating during the early post-natal stages, and the information out there is very conflicting. That is why I decided to launch our Mama programme and community. I want to create a platform where mothers can come, read, connect and better understand the importance of post-natal nutrition. And then if they need some extra help they can have our food delivered straight to their door. It would make the perfect gift for a new mum too.

We have partnered with the best-selling author and Nutritional Therapist Amelia Freer to create a food delivery package that contains all the nutrients a new mother needs. The package also includes special snacks that will help mums to replenish the nutrients that are most commonly lacking after birth, including iron, magnesium and zinc.

Filling, nutritious & hearty, the meals will help women stay confident, strong and full of energy so they can focus on their other priorities, knowing that their nutritional wellbeing (and hunger!) is taken care of.
